Hi, my name is John and I want to tell you about a fantastic way to find your ancestors and create your family tree. It's called Myheritage Family Tree Builder and it's so easy to use!! I built my own family tree in just a few minutes and found out so much about my past that I never knew before! In this post, we'll show you everything from how the software will guide you through the process of building your family tree by asking you simple questions, as well as showing how easy it is to upload documents like photographs or birth certificates that help fill in information for any unknown relatives. How To Build A Family Tree 1. Go to Myheritage.com and sign up for a free account. 2. After creating an account, you'll be taken to the main page showing the different tools available for your use. Click on 'Tree Builder' and you'll see that it's really very easy to use! You can see below how simple it is:3. The first step is to type in your family name and select your country of birth and time frame (if any), then click next: 4. Now you'll be asked if you would like to enter documents such as birth certificates or marriages. You can also type in any documents (like photos or old letters) that you may already have that come from your ancestors. Click 'yes' and then click 'next' to continue:5. Your next step will ask you to enter information about your parents and grandparents. The instructions provided will tell you exactly what information (like their names and birthplaces) you should fill out: 6. Next, it will ask for your siblings...once again the instructions provided will let you know how to fill out this section...it's really quite simple! All you need is to enter as much as possible as shown below: 7. Finally, move on to your children...this is probably the most difficult section because it requires you to know exactly how many children you have, their birthdates and their genders. You can't miss this section because it's required in order to finish building your family tree! 8. After completing the steps above, click 'Save'. Once saved, you can begin adding photos of your family members. It's really easy to do! Just click on the 'Photos' tab below and click 'Add'. The following screen will give you the option to upload one photo at a time or to search for all photos by entering a name or other information about an individual:9. Here's the result of uploading photos for my family members who are pictured below. It's really quite easy to do! The nice part about this software is that it allows you to create albums for each person within your family tree so that you can organise your photos very easily. It also tags the people in each photo so that it's easy to find them later:10.
